Banners

To add a bit more visual flare to the overall circus I decided to also try and create some banners and hopefully I will manage to implement them by the end of  the project. All the designs are original and I was inspired by some of the scenes in the Ben Hur film. This will also help guiding the player to the most important landmarks in the circus premises. I built just one to start with adn then used the same template, just changed some colours and replaced the signs here and there. I jsut finished them:


These banners are supposed to be hanged underneath the arches at the starting gates. The Circus could hold up to 12 chariots racing at the same time according to references. After I created these banners I thought that the emperor box and the triumph arch need some as well and then I created these ones based on the same template trying to bring out the greatness and fortune of the Roman Empire:
